.NET Domain Names

When the Dot NET universal domain name extension was initially set up in 1985, along with the first domain extensions on the web, it was meant to be used by Internet Service Providers or infrastructure entities. Given that there were no particular restrictions about the usage of the top-level domain, though, .NET domains were purchased and used for different purposes and by a lot of people. This TLD is a great alternative to .COM, notably if the desirable domain with the latter TLD is not free for registration.

Getting a dot NET domain with our firm is a piece of cake and takes barely a couple of minutes, taking into account that we are partners with an ICANN-accredited registrar company. You can purchase such a domain for a period between one and ten years, or, if you already have a domain, you can move it over to our firm and we will renew it after the transfer process is finished. Transfers are possible for all domains, which are at least sixty days old, provided that they are unlocked and that you have taken an EPP transfer key – security measures introduced by the .NET Registry to prevent unauthorized transfers. You can easily edit the WHOIS contact info of the domain through your Control Panel interface, or, if you don't wish this info to be accessible at all, you can buy a Whois Privacy Protection service, so no one will be able to get your actual contact information.

The dot NET top-level domain supports internationalized names, so you can pick if you want to focus on a particular country or region using a domain name in the local language, or the global Internet community – using a generic English name.
